Biography

Roop Johnstone is an artist, maker, lecturer and resident of Kaleider. He works across a variety of media, but particularly specialises in clay. He is interested in the relationships between communication, perception and understanding and in the spectrum of technology and craft. As an Automation Fellow, Roop wants to explore narrowing the perceived gaps between the handmade and automated objects and sustainable autonomous transport systems for cities.
