Biography

Polly is Associate Head of School for Enterprise and Associate Professor of Design at the University of Plymouth. As an educator, researcher and explorer she is interested in the thinking, inventing, designing, creating, manufacturing, constructing, building, producing and making of objects and artefacts. As an Automation Fellow, Polly is interested in exploring how automation developments are affecting the skills, creative ideas and processes of Designer Maker / Craft Practitioners.
