The Lessons From Now fund will support Immersion Fellow Mitch Turnbull to build on the work EarthSongs, a mixed reality prototype experience, funded by the South West Creative Technology Network. This event and experience utilises and repurposes the digital assets (motifs) created in the form of large-scale, interactive live projections as well as creating a new interactive mobile app that builds on the EarthSongs concept.
The aim of the experience is to engage a passing audience with the natural world through spectacular and beguiling content. Once engaged, the experience immerses an audience in spatial sound design, encouraging a deeper engagement with issues around climate change and habitat loss delivered via the mobile app and game.
The content will be licenced to public events around the UK and abroad generating income for Bramble Media as well as commissions for creative companies based in the South West.
